Competition around Serious Games ideas
What if the next Serious Game on GET-IT City was designed... by YOU?

Are you a game developer or a game development student? Are you a game development agency? Are you interested in game development? Then join HP's competition to design the next Serious Game for GET-IT City and win the funding to develop your game!
HP is running a competition for its next technology-for-entrepreneurship serious game! HP and its GET-IT program are dedicated to educating aspiring and established micro and small entrepreneurs around the world on the practical use of technology for business purposes. Two such serious games have already been developed within the GET-IT program – GET Security and the Blossom Game – both of which you can explore and play right here, in GET-IT City.

Your challenge is to make a proposal for the next technology-for-entrepreneurship game!

Here’s what proposal should include:
  1. An executive summary (a summary of your project, in no more than 100 words)
  2. A description of the serious game (a description of the main plot of the game, in no more than 300 words)
  3. The objective of the serious game (an explanation of the objective of the game and an explanation of what the players will learn, in no more than 300 words)
  4. The pedagogical approach and methodology (an explanation of what users will learn from the game and based on which methodologies)
  5. A description of the serious game missions (a description of the levels/missions in the game)
  6. A description of the technology (an explanation of the technologies needed to develop the game)
  7. A project plan (an summary of the main phases of game development and timelines and resources needed)
  8. A budget (a detailed breakdown of the budget for your game design and development)
  9. An appendix (with any additional information that could support your proposal, such as mockups, background research, developers curriculum etc.)

Please email your serious game proposal to Munir Ahmad at munir.ahmad@mea-i.org by 15th April, 2010.
